William and I have been reading Magic Schoolbus books. I decided to up the ante when it came to entertainment for this kid. I think he's intellectually further ahead than I give him credit.

So we've been taking journeys with Mrs. Frizzle's class and learning about all the things you learn in elementary school that you mostly forget. William is asking all kinds of questions and before I know it we are having an in depth discussion about plate tectonics. Well, I'm starting to sweat because I do not know very much about this and as soon as he learns to read he's going to find out that I only seem like I know because I can read the answers.

So my question of the day is: What do you have to do you have to have to keep your child from one day looking at you and realizing that you don't know everything? Or maybe, how do you survive seeing in your children's eyes that they can't rely on you for all the answers?
